Captured 52

Captured 52 needed a classy brand to complement their curated photography. Having the photography take center stage at all times was very important to the client, so I designed the brand and site from a minimalist perspective, limiting the palette to black and white.

The website used WordPress with Shopp for e-commerce—a lightweight solution, because we wanted the site to be snappy even though it was heavily photographic. The constraint of restraint made every design decision count.
